We often tend to look at ourselves in a way that makes us wonder how people perceive us. We take pride in our physical beauty…our hair, our make-up, what we wear or how we just look in general. But what we don’t realize is that our physical beauty is only as much as what our inward beauty represents.
You see, we are created in the image of Christ. If you were to really look deep inside yourself or if you were to look through the Father’s eyes, you would see the inner beauty that reflects on the outside.
When our inner beauty shines…
It doesn’t matter if a hair is out of place.
It doesn’t matter if our make-up is smeared or if we wear any at all.
It doesn’t matter if our clothes don’t exactly match or we are flowing with the trend.
The wrinkles represent a life full of joy and laughter.
Every little part of us, from a simple smile to busting-out laughter…to the love we show and the words of wisdom we give, there is nothing like knowing the beauty we are created in.
The Word says…
We were made delicately and are wonderfully complex.
We were formed in the most utter seclusion.
God’s workmanship, which is us, is marvelous!
We are to be dressed in strength and dignity.
We are to speak with words of wisdom and give instructions with kindness.
Remember this:
“There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all! Charm is deceptive and beauty does not last, but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.” – Proverbs 31:29-30

***A Side note from me: [I think I tend to find the beauty in who I am becoming. In whom God is creating me to be. I find the utmost beauty in those that are truly living their life to the fullest. The way someone appears when you truly see their inwardness rather than their outward appearance, the beauty that shows from someone fulfilling their goals, setting their achievements high and reaching them. I find the beauty in those that think they have lost it all and soon find out that they never really lost anything, but that they picked back up where they have left off and persevered through it all. The beauty I believe is in the uttermost part of our being, where everything truly lies, whether hidden or revealed. Ladies, you are beautiful and there is no one out there that is just like you. That you are vital and important and that you are one in a million. KEF 01/06/09]
