This is something God gave me as we have been waiting upon Him and what He is going to do through this situation we are in. It is dedicated to my Grandpa. What a great man who is living a life so worthy of the calling. Leaving a legacy and teaching us so much more than he realizes. Thank you, Grandpa.
There are times where life takes us on a journey,
yet to be discovered by so many.
A place that most people don’t want to be,
a place where one day you have hope and strength
and the next it’s full of doubt and weakness.
We often think of this journey as “a road less traveled”, but when you take a true look at it,
you realize that it’s more of “a road often traveled” by people we never meet.
In that time which seems to be filled with so many obstacles;
questions left unanswered, valleys and deserts, whirlwinds of chaos, struggles,
fears, tears of pain and of hurt we tend to forget
that although we feel loneliness and emptiness inside,
we truly never travel alone.
There is a God who carries us through the most difficult times in our lives.
We stand upon a faith deeply founded on the One who created us and
pre-destined the life set before us.
It is never easily uprooted or shaken.
When situations and circumstances arise it’s not because “life just happens”.
There is always a season to go through and a reason for everything.
We know that prayer moves the hand of God. We know that God upholds the righteous.
We know that miracles are very much alive today.
One thing that we sure do forget though is when we praise God through the storm;
our lives tend to be affected just the same as those we are upholding in God’s arms.
This so called “journey of life” we end up on when we had planned on passing it by,
whether it’s easy or whether it’s tough
it is “a road never traveled alone”.
The love, strength, peace, understanding, grace, mercy and forgiveness we never knew we had
allows us to surmount it all.
When we feel like our lives have come to a stop and
we would rather sit still and not make another move,
it’s our trust and beliefs in God that helps us to stand tall and walk bravely
when we feel so small in a world that just keeps moving on.
The rush of our emotions that we feel as we walk the journey
will never compare to the outcome of what we’ve been through.
In the end, it is truly worth it all.
